Exam photo and signature size — sourced from the official notice

Every exam page carries the same numbers printed in the official notice — and where the notice says nothing, we say that too.

Most resizer websites publish a table of exam photo sizes with no citation. Numbers get copied between sites for years after the commission changed them, and a few were never printed by anyone. FileKB takes the opposite approach: one page per recruiting body whose own document we have read, with the URL, the document title and the date we saw it printed next to the specification.

That policy has consequences you will notice. The Staff Selection Commission page tells you plainly that no photograph size exists to hit, because the current notice captures the photo live inside the application module — the widely quoted twenty-to-fifty kilobyte figure is not in it. Only the signature has a published rule. Similarly, where the Union Public Service Commission's own upload sheet and its examination notice disagree about the kilobyte ceiling, both are shown and the conflict is stated rather than hidden.

Exams that genuinely share one specification are merged into a single page instead of being spread across five thin ones. The banking family is a good example: clerical, probationary officer and regional rural bank recruitment all use a two-hundred-by-two-hundred-and-thirty photograph with a one-hundred-and-forty-by-sixty signature, so they live together with anchors for each. Delhi Police Constable is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission, so it points at the Commission's page.

For the National Testing Agency exams — the medical entrance test, the engineering entrance test and the common university entrance test — the photograph window is ten to two hundred kilobytes with a separate signature range, and the agency also requires the photograph to carry the candidate's name and the date it was taken for some forms. Those requirements are quoted on each page with the information bulletin that states them.

If the exam you want is not here, it is usually because we could not find an official page stating a specification. In that case the search either lands on the parent body's page or on the tool with a sensible preset, which is more useful than a made-up number.
